In 2021, 107,000 Americans died from drug overdoses; in 2022, the deaths rose to more than 140,000. That is close to a quarter-million dead in just two years, more than the number of American combat deaths in World War I, the Korean War and the Vietnam War combined. Fentanyl poisoning is now the leading cause of death for Americans between the ages of 18 and 50.
We now live in a nation saturated with drugs. In addition to the overdose deaths and the human suffering associated with them, there are now tens of millions of drug users in the United States. This drugging of the American people has produced the moral, cultural and spiritual collapse that we are living through right now.
