We Need the Truth!

Whether it is about the elections, the wars, the surveillance, the censorship, public health, gender, history, climate change, or about science, politics, and art in general, the basis of civilization, and even beauty, is premised on what we call Truth.
Without Truth, we have barbarism and savagery. Without Truth, we have a growing trend of a nihilistic will to power which is the globalized post-war world. This worldview of cultural insanity defines the neocons and their transgender step-sisters, the neo-liberals.
As we reflect on our Christmas celebration and on the new year that awaits, even Father Time would agree that Truth is intrinsic to all space and time. For Truth is nothing less than the participation in creation, as being coherent or one with the living Creator.
We need a movement today that is dedicated, for example, not merely to opposing pedophilia, but one which will once again devote itself to the restoration of Truth, in all its beauty and encompassing implications.
This is not merely some objective accuracy, otherwise known as empiricism, but it is, as Plato introduced, a process of discovery of new and higher truths, which is nothing less than man's social and creative participation in creation.
