All us “pathological optimists” know fusion power is the future.  The challenge has been not just initiating fusion reactions, but how to control and sustain them, and Washington-based Helion Energy might be on the right track: self-generated plasma “smoke rings.”

Our Western United States is being hit by the most severe drought in over 1200 years, according to climatologists, far surpassing the extreme drought of 2015. Seven states in the West are entirely in drought this week after the US Drought Monitor announced a deterioration of conditions in Montana, which joins California, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and North Dakota on the list. That is not to mention whole sections of other western states where extreme drought conditions prevail. Wells are running dry. California and Oregon are suffering from drought fed fires. Electricity is at risk as the hydroelectric dams which produce it are running on empty, particularly in the Colorado River Basin and in California.

The universal mission of America is under desperate attack by the weakened British Empire.  The Empire and its lackies on Wall Street, in Washington, D.C., in academia, in the “intelligence community,” in Silicon Valley, are not content to just physically impoverish and destroy. They are destroying the soul of America by erasing the accomplishments of the past -- that which should inspire the future.

Right now, Washington, DC is overflowing with bills, reports, proposals for budgets, commissions, taskforces, leveraging of departmental resources, etc., etc. At best this is an unfocussed process of throwing money at problems instead of focusing on reality and solving real problems. At worst, as in Joe Biden’s Green New Deal, our economy will devolve much, much, further.
