The population chart covers the last 1000 years. Focus on the point around 1400 AD, at the end of the Middle Ages. You can see in the small pop-out box that this is the end of the Black Death. It is also the lowest point of population level over the last 600 years. This means that during the past six centuries, in what is known as the modern era, we have seen the greatest change in the sustained rate of population growth in human history! 

This is not Al Gore’s hockey stick! This is a great paradox for the eco-fanatics and Malthusian dimwits, because not only are there more people, but those people are living longer and consuming more. (At least they were until recently.) Thus, beginning with the great Florentine Renaissance, and the construction of the Duomo of Florence, this process extended over six centuries, or for 30 generations at an accelerated rate, and is an accurate measure of true economic success, contrary to the apocalyptic naysayers. 

For a quick comparison, in 1400, the average life expectancy in Europe was 48 years. Today it is 78 years. 

This is not simply the result of having more children per woman. This is the ability to sustain healthy family formation over centuries. It means sustained improvements in agriculture, machines, sanitation, roads, canals, manufacturing, and construction. More importantly, it requires an improved ability to think, to have useful insights towards necessary industries, and to promote the adoption of great discoveries that lead to the steam engine, electricity, and atomic science. It also means a sustained capacity for optimism, for artistic greatness, and an appreciation for the responsibilities of self-government and the nation-state itself! 

And all this, as a cultural commitment, was sustained through political upheavals, religious wars, financial collapses, economic depressions, plagues, and even World Wars. 

How this was sustained will be covered in future installments. For now, let us consider that the mission of our society, the measure of our success, minimally, is to continue this trajectory of sustained growth in the number of human beings on the planet.

Thus the greatest crisis on the planet today is not climate change or COVID, but the collapsing birth rates in the most advanced economies. Contrary to the pagan priests of finance, you cannot replace the population decline of the advanced nations with peoples of the under-developed world. Quite the contrary, you will only develop the potential of under-developed nations by both a sustained population growth in the most advanced sector nations, combined with a global system of cooperation of sovereign nations.

This key concept will also be developed in future installments, but in short, an individual person is not a biological entity, but rather the product of civilization, of thousands of years of language culture, scientific advancement, profound religious and philosophical concepts like monotheism, and a cultural fabric of learned wisdom and responsibility to ensure society continues for future generations. Each is in this way a product of the technological, as well as cultural standards of production of a given society. This is tied intimately to the responsibilities of self-government, and creating long-term success in the policies of that nation. Any metric, such as global GDP or stock prices, which excludes this understanding, is an intended fraud, and the results from these economic fraudsters and their decades of voodoo economics, have created a man-made crisis for our civilization.

Consider the collapse of birth rates in the most advanced sector for 2019.

These numbers understate the problem, because the collapse of birth rates is quickly becoming worse in certain nations, but numbers during the Covid cult years are not yet available. For instance, there was no baby boom during covid, rather just the opposite.

Genocide by any other name, is still genocide. 

At a recent Oakland County Commissioners meeting, in Pontiac, MI, I had the chance to raise this issue. At this particular meeting much of the focus was placed on the tragedy of the school shooting in Oxford, MI, in the north of Oakland County. On the agenda, they were considering measures to address the mental health issues which have led to the spike in youth violence. 

As you’ll see in this youtube video clip, I believe this issue of population growth is the most pressing issue of mental health for young people today. And until we provide a clear sense of purpose and responsibility to the younger generations for what actually sustains human society, then the mental well-being for all members of our society will only continue to decline. Imagine telling young people that to save humanity we have to turn off the power plants and eat less food! Or worse, that we all have to wear masks, take experimental medicine, and shut down the global economy, and then we can survive. How many millions have needlessly died because behind these insane ideas, were real world consequences that killed via starvation, lack of real medical care, suicide, and diseases of despair?

Preaching overpopulation has only one ultimate end.

Importantly, over the subsequent days, I received feedback from people at the meeting who held diverse political views. Liberals and conservatives agreed, at least in Oakland County. This is not a partisan issue. Do you like human beings? Do you like modern civilization, or would you rather shit in a bucket in your basement or worse? Then we had better grow, and that requires a change in our view of economic success.

Optimism about the ability of human society to solve the great problems, as we have in a sustained fashion over the last 600 years, is the very essence of a real education, culture, and economy, and is the basis for real mental health. 

Let us insist, then, on this kind of optimism, devotion, and inspiration to address the great crisis before us. Banish the apocalyptic fanatics, Covid cultists, and race baiters within our classrooms, boardrooms, and halls of government. Insist on the greatness of humanity, and let us grow the next generations of creative and industrious members of the human race. That is economic success.

Trump at Davos

President Trump agrees. His speech from the World Economic Forum at Davos in 2020 to a bunch of pessimistic globalist executives, excerpted below, hits at the heart of the crisis in our civilization, and its solutions.
