On August 1, 2009, Lyndon LaRouche said the only solution to the 2007-2008 financial collapse by which the United States could survive was to bankrupt the Fed and launch a Hamiltonian Third National Bank to finance major technologically advanced projects, dramatically increasing productivity. Now, the situation is even worse and LaRouche's solution remains the viable one on the table.
