For me, there are three bookends in the journey which ended Wednesday with Special Counsel John Durham’s testimony before the House Judiciary Committee. The first is Chuck Schumer’s confession of how things now work in the United States, the second is Bill Barr’s absurd constraints on John Durham’s investigation, and the third is Durham’s appearance in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, along with the House’s censorship of Adam Schiff.

On January 3, 2017, the very compromised and corrupt Sen. Chuck Schumer told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow in blunt terms how Washington works. Donald Trump had gone after Obama’s intelligence community, even back then, for claims already widely voluminously leaked that Vladimir Putin had intervened in the 2016 U.S. election to “help” Donald Trump. Those leaks, of course, became the official claim of the U.S. intelligence community in their assessment of January 6, 2017. The leaks were part of an operation authored by Barack Obama in December of 2016 for a “whole of government” campaign, operating through Executive Order 12333 and targeting both alleged Russian operations and sympathizers in the U.S. and Donald Trump.

Trump’s transition team compared the “intelligence” supporting the intelligence community finding to the intelligence community’s finding that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Trump was right in equating these the two criminal hoaxes against the American people. Schumer knew he was right, but, nonetheless, said that Trump was being really stupid because the intelligence community had “six ways from Sunday for getting back at you” for exposing them. 

Schumer’s remarks occurred in the first stage of the crime known as Russiagate. There were two interrelated motives in the affair. The first was to carry out the modern British Empire’s intention to conquer Russia, using the rabid Nazis of Ukraine and their hostage population, along with American and British support to accomplish this goal.  Hillary Clinton was supposed to fulfill this assignment along with other Obama Administration third term foreign policy and domestic goals. The second was to convince the American public that they had made a grievous error in electing the outsider Donald Trump and that mistake must never happen again.

The poisonous “narrative” the U.S. traitors and their British sponsors concocted for this campaign resurrected racism and other identity politics components as central elements of their campaign against Trump and his “deplorable” supporters, along with the enemy image of Trump as a Putin appendage, a fascist foreign invader who had been illegitimately put in the presidency by sophisticated Russian “active measures.” “Good Americans” infected with this poisonous concoction now suffer from the disease known as “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”  They are willing to abandon any Constitutional views and principles they previously held and blindly follow criminal orders to defeat the foreign invader.

Beginning in the December 2016, the U.S. intelligence community, and Victoria Nuland’s State Department, in conjunction with Ukrainian operatives and contractors who had worked on the 2014 coup there, began the systematic construction of a total censorship and surveillance state based on the Russiagate lie. The campaign began when the Washington Post published a list entitled “Prop or Not,” identifying alleged “pro-Russian” journalists to be censored. At the same time, the FBI having received its targets from John Brennan’s “fusion” cell at the CIA and British intelligence began the Cross-Fire Hurricane investigation aimed at using lawfare to bring about the impeachment and criminal prosecution of the American president.

Christopher Steele, the top full spectrum information warfare specialist for the British spy services had worked with Nuland and the DOJ’s National Security Division long before he took up the cause of destroying Trump.  This campaign continued throughout Trump’s presidency, with his Administration constantly threatened with criminal prosecution. The Democratic House proceeded to impeach him for asking about the Biden family’s corruption in Ukraine and about the consequences of providing lethal weapons to the most corrupt country in Europe.

A few good men and women, led by Devin Nunes and Kash Patel and sentient writers on both the nominal right and left of the spectrum, threw sand and rocks in the gears of the emergent fascist Leviathan. Since Trump was innocent the prosecution machine chugged to a stop after Robert Mueller was finally forced to admit that he came up empty. The Ukraine impeachment setup began the very next day.  Since Trump resisted the entire affair, he increasingly drew the conspirators, who normally function in darkness and in the background, into sunlight. The sane portion of the population was horrified and repulsed and formed what has continued to be a strong and expanding resistance.

Bill Barr’s Perfidy

Bill Barr became Attorney General just as the stink of what the FBI and DOJ were doing became overwhelming and endangered those institutions themselves because of popular revolt. He stopped the hideous prosecution of Mike Flynn and the draconian sentence proposed for Roger Stone. He otherwise accused the intelligence community of illicit “spying” and illegalities and swore he would get to the bottom of all of it. The by now completely TDS infected and Jacobin Democrats set out to ostracize and impeach Barr, the ultimate DC insider and intelligence community and DOJ institutionalist.

That’s how we come to my second bookmark, Bill Barr’s arranged interview with Kimberly Strassel of the Wall Street Journal published on December 18, 2020. Here’s what that said: “The biggest news from Mr. Durham’s probe is what he has ruled out. Mr. Barr was initially suspicious that agents had been spying on the Trump campaign before the official July 2016 start date of Crossfire Hurricane, and that the Central Intelligence Agency or foreign intelligence had played a role. But even prior to naming Mr. Durham special counsel, Mr. Barr had come to the conclusion that he didn’t “see any sign of improper CIA activity” or “foreign government activity before July 2016,” he says. “The CIA stayed in its lane.”

This ludicrous constraint on Durham followed Barr famously announcing on December 2, 2020, that he didn’t see fraud in the 2020 presidential election sufficient to challenge the election results. The Bill Barr DOJ and the FBI had also been aware of the Hunter Biden laptop since November of 2019 and aware of the FD 1023 from a confidential source alleging that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden were each paid $5 million by the leader of the Burisma energy company in Ukraine to influence American policy,  including halting law enforcement investigations of Burisma.  Rather than fully investigating the Hunter Biden laptop’s revelations of dirty Biden family dealings, Barr allowed the setup of a 50 person FBI task force to censor social media and launched surveillance of Rudy Guiliani and others investigating the contents of the laptop. The FBI task force ultimately censored the Biden laptop story ahead of the November 2020 elections. The shocking whistleblower revelations of the stonewalling and sabotage of the Hunter Biden tax, money laundering, and FARA case, begin in Barr’s DOJ.

So, as of December 2020, the British government, which sponsored MI6 dirty dossier writer Christopher Steele in all of his activities, used its assets to gather intelligence against Donald Trump by targeting Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, Michael Flynn, and Paul Manafort, and the entire Trump campaign team (with the assistance of their agent Bill Browder) at a meeting at Trump Tower in July of 2016, walked away from the seditious conspiracy against Donald Trump completely free, courtesy of Bill Barr.  Not only that, Barr adopted and foisted on John Durham the British cover story about these activities. According to Durham, the British thought the FBI’s pursuit of Crossfire Hurricane, based on Christopher Steele’s dirty dossier was a reckless mess with no real content. The British had also told both the CIA and the White House that Steele was a rogue agent, undistinguished in his career and considered to have bad judgment. Yet, by 2021, Steele was back to working with the highest levels of British state intelligence.

The same get out of jail free card was handed to Ukraine. The Ukrainians manufactured the so-called “black book,” also later deemed completely bogus, alleging that Paul Manafort received millions in cash from dirty Russian and pro-Russian Ukrainian intelligence agents. There is a good case to be made that whatever hacking of the DNC and John Podesta occurred was done by a Ukrainian state group known as Shaltai-Boltoi.

According to Barr, the British were “staying in their lane” when they demanded in late 2015 in conversations with John Brennan that Trump be taken out lest the entire “special relationship” between the U.S. and Britain be terminated. According to the Guardian, British monitoring of Trump through the British surveillance agency GCHQ was the reason the Trump/Russia investigation even began—it was a British idea. Carter Page and George Papadopoulos were targeted because of British intelligence intercepts. Flynn had been targeted by the British spy circle around Sir Richard Dearlove (the sponsor also of Christopher Steele) during the Obama Administration.

Throughout the summer of 2016, Brennan pushed aspects of Christopher Steele’s dossier to the Gang of Eight in Congress, with Harry Reid’s leaked letter demanding an FBI investigation of the Trump campaign forming the peg for the pre-election media campaign coverage of Donald Trump as a Manchurian candidate in bed with Vladimir Putin. All the while, John Brennan was presiding over an interagency task force at Langley which was coordinating international spying on an American presidential campaign. But that is just staying in the lane, according to the former CIA employee and life-long CIA enthusiast William Barr.

Wednesday’s Festivities

My last bookend, is of course, Wednesday’s presentation to Congress, in which Durham presented his “findings” of systemic investigative abuses in the July 2016 commenced FBI Cross-Fire Hurricane investigation of the Trump Campaign. Working within Barr’s constraints, Durham targeted the lowest and middle levels of the seditious conspiracy which attacked the American president: Kevin Clinesmith, the lawyer who fabricated what was otherwise completely exculpatory information about Carter Page in his FISA warrant, Michael Sussman, the lawyer for the Clinton Campaign from Perkins, Coie who fabricated claims that the Trump organization had a back channel to Russia’s Alfa Bank and pushed them to the fully witting FBI General Counsel James Baker,  and Christopher Steele’s main source for his fabricated dirty dossier about Donald Trump, Igor Danchenko.

Andy McCabe, James Comey, Christopher Steele, Marc Elias, John Podesta, John Brennan, Jim Clapper, Fusion GPS, the DOJ National Security Division, the Obama White House—everyone involved in actually running this coup were either not interviewed or not pursued. Durham’s absurd story for his criminal cases was that the FBI and CIA had been victimized by a campaign wholly invented and implemented by Hillary Clinton.

Despite his official Special Counsel designation requiring investigation of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Donald Trump and his associates, Durham admitted that he did not investigate that. He had to be reminded by Congressman Matt Gaetz that the order appointing him by Bill Barr required that investigation. Instead, Durham snapped, Robert Mueller was a most honorable man and a patriot.

The alleged hacking of the DNC by Russia and the passing of the bounty from that hack and the spear fishing of John Podesta to WikiLeaks were also not investigated by Durham even though this was the keystone alleged criminal event instigating Russiagate itself. Michael Sussman, who Durham indicted for the Alfa Bank lies, was the critical player in the fake DNC hack narrative. The declassified testimony of Crowd Strike’s Shawn Henry before the House Intelligence Committee turns that bogus story inside out and upside down. Henry, who investigated the so-called hack and provided all of the reports used by both the FBI and Robert Mueller to continue to insist that Russia interfered in the 2016 election, testified that he could not show that whatever was “hacked” was exfiltrated in any way.

Julian Assange is withering away in a British prison and will likely be tried for espionage here soon as the result of this totally fake narrative. Fifty percent of the American public still believe that the poisonous narrative is true, forming the core of support for the continued genocidal war in Ukraine, the 2020 summer of carnage, and the rigging of the 2020 election, and many more deadly effects of the disease known as Trump Derangement Syndrome. The potential for sane relations between Russia and the United States and China and the United States pursued by Donald Trump, now are dead, superseded by open war.

The pragmatic rationalization employed by many here –be happy that we said Russiagate collusion was a hoax although no one is held accountable – could not be more of a prescription for the continuing demise of our Republic.

Wednesday’s proceedings featured rants led by Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, and, most tellingly Steve Cohen and echoed by all Democratic representatives against t Durham. Steve Cohen ended his mad rant by stating that Durham, having fouled himself with the damaged goods called Donald Trump, would end up being burnt on a pyre.

This same mad wailing by the Democrats continued into the evening when the Republicans finally managed to get their censure of Adam Schiff through the House.  Schiff was referred for an ethics investigation for his endless pushing of the Russiagate lie, a venture which continues even though it has been proven to be fake news, the greatest hoax in history. The Democrats manically chanted “shame, shame,” and “Adam, Adam,” in a sustained effort to keep Speaker Kevin McCarthy from censuring Schiff in the well of the House. Representative Anna Paulina Luna, who wrote and led the fight for the censure, noted poignantly that Schiff’s relentless promotion of this big lie had torn the nation apart. And that, we believe, was the ultimate British intent.
