Isn’t It Time to Return to the Real American System? The COVID Bailout Bill vs. LaRouche’s Four Laws

     December 26, 2020 ·   · 1 reaction

President Trump has vetoed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) and threatens to veto the COVID relief and stimulus bill just passed by Congress.

More aid for individuals, particularly unemployed and underemployed Americans and small businesses is needed. However, giving every American a check for $600, or $2,000, or $600,000, will not create a recovery. In fact, just handing out money to those the oligarchs deem ultimately unemployable or “non-essential” is a favored scheme of the Davos-aligned oligarchs. And continuing any funding for regime change operations and genocidal wars abroad is a moral abomination.

For time immemorial, humans have gazed up in wonder at the sky—at the moon and the planets beyond. Now, humanity is moving to inhabit space itself at rapid speed. The instruments and spacecraft heading to the Moon and Mars and the science and research now underway in Low Earth Orbit, will pave the way for the great advance of humanity into the solar system—humanity’s new frontier.

The spectacular launch to the International Space Station on Sunday November 15, of the Crew-1, Resilience Mission from Cape Canaveral’s Pad 39A in Florida, aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon Rocket generated international excitement. It involved a four person crew: Astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker, and JAXA Japanese Partner Astronaut, Soichi Noguchi. The Crew-1 docked to Station following a 27.5 hour flight. The mission took place on the Anniversary of another historic mission in space flight, the launch of Expedition 1, 20 years ago to the International Space Station. For 20 years, these missions have been “advancing humanity by using the space station to learn how to explore farther than ever before, while also conducting research and technology demonstrations benefiting life back on Earth.”

The NASA/SpaceX Crew 1 mission of four astronauts successfully launched to the International Space Station (ISS) this evening at 7:27 p.m. EST (Monday 00:27 UTC). All systems performed as intended and docking at the ISS should take place around 11 p.m. EST Monday evening (Tuesday 04:00 UTC). All of the years of work on this system have paid off. The NASA announcer as the rocket cleared the launch pad into the sky said: “Not even gravity contains humanity when we explore as one for all!”

"We know, speaking broadly on this point, that if a developing nation, for example, is to reach the levels of sustainable population-density obtained in industrialized nations, those developing economies must achieve approximately the per capita energy-throughput of industrialized economies."

    — Lyndon LaRouche, A Fifty-Year Development Policy for the Indian-Pacific Oceans Basin, EIR, 1983.

Based on this physical economic reality, in 1983 LaRouche forecast the mass murderous consequences of failing to achieve the energy-flux-density development required for economies globally—unfortunately, LaRouche’s forecast was correct.

Famous Economics Experiment has been Asking the Wrong Question for 60 Years

A recent article caught my attention, "Famous economics experiment reproduced thousands of times" (by Whitney Clavin, California Institute of Technology).

The article, and the study it's based on, call attention to the highly problematic nature of popular discussions of economic theory in the United States today. Rather than endless discussion about supply and demand and free markets, it would be far more useful to study the vast global economic benefits of a Moon-Mars colonization program. To do this competently, the axiomatic problems of modern economic thought need to be highlighted, removed, and replaced.

    The article in question opens,

President Trump's Project Artemis is not only a return to the Moon by 2024, but the establishment of a permanently manned base on the Moon by 2028—providing key steps towards Lyndon LaRouche's outline for a Moon-Mars colonization program.  This is the greatest endeavor of exploration in human history, and represents an evolutionary leap in mankind's existence in the Universe, similar to the first emergence of life onto land from the primordial oceans 430 million years ago.

This project is critical to the restoration of a pro-growth, industrial and manufacturing-based United States economy, and to a new global system based not on monetary globalization, but based on the industrial development of all nations and people.

Both the Artemis project and the unique perspective of space colonization defined by Lyndon LaRouche were discussed in depth during a special August 15, 2020 video seminar with Michael Steger, Kesha Rogers, Brian Lantz, and Ben Deniston.

We should then recognize that the development of basic economic infrastructure had always been a needed creation of what is required as an ‘habitable’ development of a ‘synthetic,’ rather than a presumably ‘natural’ environment for the enhancement, or even the possibility of human life and practice at some time in the existence of our human species.… Man as a creator in the likeness of the great Creator, is expressed by humanity's creation of the ‘artificial environments’ we sometimes call ‘infrastructure,’ on which both the progress, and even the merely continued existence of civilized society depends.

Even though opposition to nuclear power has been central to the zero-growth Malthusian movement since the late-1960s, the man-made climate change catastrophe propaganda campaign has increasingly driven some to place a growing emphasis on nuclear fission and fusion power as the basis of a CO₂ emissions reduction policy.

Any attempt to mandate a CO₂ reduction policy—even while supporting nuclear power technologies critical to mankind’s future—is a horrific policy, and would condemn hundreds of millions of people to unnecessary suffering and premature death.

Notes on the Legacy of Lyndon LaRouche and the Future of Science

Over a long and productive life, Lyndon LaRouche, Jr. provided a myriad of inter-related original contributions to science, art, and philosophy, all flowing from his central discovery in, what he emphasized, was the over-arching field of the science of physical economy (LaRouche, paraphrasing Carl Gauss, called his science of physical economy the “king of the sciences”). Current and future specialists in these fields, as well the rarer renaissance polymath, will, undoubtedly, bring forth new and unexpected discoveries from the implications of these contributions, especially as mankind extends his economic reach beyond the Earth.
