In the deepest sense, Beethoven's music is political. As Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. stated, Beethoven's music "is the musical 'political literature' of promethean humanism."

The people of our nation are hungry to apply their promethean power. Giving our attention to our growing potential, we can break ourselves free from the rot of globalization and the no-growth culture of self-obsession and destruction.

Now is the time to discover, and to affirm, what makes the soul of the creative human species indomitable. Beethoven is its greatest spokesman.

In Part I and II, My-Hoa Steger will be investigating one of Beethoven's greatest creations, his final piano sonata, Piano Sonata No. 32 in C Minor, Opus 111.
