A Truly Presidential Statement on Terrorism From Lyndon LaRouche

December 7, 2015

Shortly before Barack Obama's self-serving prime-time TV appearance Sunday night, purporting to discuss the San Bernardino incident and terrorism more broadly, Lyndon LaRouche stressed to a Sunday gathering of associates that "Obama must be thrown out, period." There is no way to avoid thermonuclear war; there is no way to stop terrorism; there is no hope for mankind in general, unless we promptly oust Obama, LaRouche stated.

In this moment of crisis, with a dysfunctional American Presidency, it is urgent to recall what Lyndon LaRouche stated at the outset of his Dec. 3 Fireside Chat discussion with supporters. Just 24 hours after the San Bernardino massacre, while Obama was engaging in Benghazi-like lies that the attack may have merely been "workplace violence," Lyndon LaRouche provided the required leadership:

"Well, what we've got is, a problem which can be traced most immediately from the reign of terror, which struck Paris and around other parts of France recently. Now we have inside the United States, we have a smaller scale of the same kind of operation, of an Arabist, a panic group which is committing mass murder.  Now, what happened is, that the mass murders which are being run by Turkey and others right now, is part of the same thing, that is killing Americans in the United States now on the same basis.  And the reason this is going on is because of Barack Obama, who has the power to deal with this problem, is not doing it.  And therefore you can't complain about this stuff, if you do not act upon the means you have available to correct the problem.

"And what is happening, the police forces of course, do have some insight into this thing, but the kind of insight which is required is not being delivered!  The President of the United States is responsible to deal with this because this wave of terror, which spilled over from France, which came from Saudi Arabia, originally, in that direction, is now hitting the United States, and the Presidency of the United States either knows it, or is so stupid, that it doesn't know it.

"And somebody ought to be doing something about it.  This is going to get worse.  But if you're not dealing with getting rid of this particular case of terror, because this is only a part of a plan to create a massive disruption, along these lines, inside the United States, as well as elsewhere.

"So therefore, Obama is not doing his job! Obama is not acting to save the lives of American citizens. And that's the only way to get at this thing. Don't comment on it: Correct it.

"So therefore, we've come to a point where we can't simply solve a problem one at a time.  We have to recognize that the whole planet, under the influence of the British Empire, as such; it was the British Empire that organized the general world wars in terms of the previous century; the Civil War was a product of this same problem.

"So therefore, the problem is, we've just got to clean the mess up."

Later in the discussion, LaRouche reiterated:

"This President must be removed from office because he is terrorizing the entire population of the United States, and therefore he's not fit to be President of the United States."

LaRouche's leadership is intersecting growing revulsion in the country against Obama's lies, and his deranged drive towards thermonuclear confrontation with Russia and China—most recently using the Erdogan government in Turkey to launch one provocation after another against Russia. On Dec. 4, Mellon-Scaife's Pittsburgh Tribune Review became the latest media to pick up on Washington Times columnist Charles Hurt's raising of the necessity of activating the 25th Amendment against a President Obama responsible for ISIS now "coming to America." Other media, such as the Boston Herald, are outraged at Obama's handling of San Bernardino, writing: "Workplace violence? Really?"

But few in the U.S. yet comprehend the depth of change that is required to solve these problems—such as the urgent extension of the World Land-Bridge into every corner of the planet, including the war-torn Middle East. Nor have they considered the unique qualities of human creativity, outside the ordinary habits of "practical thinking," that are needed to bring that revolutionary transformation about.

Enter LaRouche's Manhattan Project, which is addressing precisely that critical point. As LaRouche stated in his Fireside Chat:

"There is no such thing as an evolutionary process of development of human culture. There are effects which occur at certain times. But then, suddenly, the whole culture, collapses, vanishes, it's slaughtered. Then later, somebody else arrives, stimulates something new, and gives mankind another chance at progress.

"And our job is to understand this question of progress, and progress is not an evolutionary process. It's always a revolutionary process, it is never evolutionary! And everybody who's sitting around waiting for a revolutionary process, is just kidding themselves. A revolution of that type, has to be an act of genius, which comes as if from nowhere. But that's the way mankind succeeds. And I'm looking for people who will do that kind of work, and become the geniuses who cause the future to be reborn again."

Obama and British Deploy Turkey to Provoke Putin

The Turkish government of ISIS-ally Recep Erdogan is being deployed by the Obama administration and the British to try to provoke Russian President Putin into their trap of escalating conflict towards thermonuclear war.

The 150 Turkish troops and 25 tanks that entered northern Iraq uninvited this weekend are "right next to Mosul and right between the Kurds and ISIS," directly on the smuggling route for illegal ISIS crude into Turkey from Iraq, wrote ZeroHedge.com on Dec. 5. The Turkish daily Hurriyet added that the intent is that "Turkey will have a permanent military base in the Bashiqa region of Mosul."

The Iraqi government Saturday protested that the Turkish action was an "invasion" and demanded their immediate withdrawal, and today escalated with a statement from the Prime Minister's office saying: "In the absence of the withdrawal of these forces within 48 hours, Iraq has the right to use all available options, including recourse to the [U.N.] Security Council." Turkey has so far only responded laconically that it has suspended any further troop transfers.

Given these developments, Zerohedge asks: "Ultimately, this is yet another escalation from Erdogan, and the timing, location, and vague explanation raise all sorts of questions about what exactly those 150 troops and 25 tanks are doing, but you can be sure that, if Baghdad rebukes Washington and green lights Russian recon and airstrikes in Iraq, we'll find out soon enough."

In a couple of new incidents between Turkey and Russia, Turkey earlier this week detained four Russian commercial ships in Turkey's port of Samsun, for alleged "lack of documents" and safety violations. Three of the four ships were released on Dec. 4, but one remains detained. The Turkish action reportedly came after Russia held five Turkish ships at Novorossiysk, all of which have since been released. And the Turkish Foreign Ministry has protested that a Russian servicemen brandished a rocket launcher on his shoulder on deck of a Russian vessel as it passed through the Bosphorus strait, which bisects Istanbul.

Assad Says Russian Actions in Syria Are Protecting All Europe

Syrian President Bashar Assad, in an interview published by the Sunday Times of London Sunday, again warned the nations of Europe about their current disastrous course, and pointed in contrast to what Russia is doing:

"They [russia] want to protect Syria, Iraq, the region—and even Europe. I am not exaggerating by saying they are protecting Europe today."

But what European nations are doing, with the U.S., by bombing inside Syria without his government's approval, is illegal, Assad said, and is only helping the ISIS cancer grow.

"We know from the very beginning that Britain and France were the spearheads in supporting the terrorists in Syria, from the very beginning of the conflict," he said. "We know that they don't have that will, even if we want to go back to the chapter on military participation with the coalition, it has to be comprehensive, it has to be from the air, from the ground, to have cooperation with the troops on the ground, the national troops for the interference or participation to be legal. It is legal only when the participation is in cooperation with the legitimate government in Syria. So, I would say they don't have the will and they don't have the vision on how to defeat terrorism ...

"So I would say, first they will not give any results. Second, it will be harmful and illegal, and it will support terrorism as what happened after the coalition started its operation a year or so, because this is like a cancer. You cannot cut the cancer. You have to extract it. This kind of operation is like cutting the cancer that will make it spread in the body faster."

Assad nonetheless reiterated his earlier offer to work with anyone who is serious about destroying ISIS:

"If they are ready —serious and genuine—to fight terrorism, we welcome any country or government, any political effort; in that regard we are not radical, we are pragmatic."

China Gives Full Backing to Russia's Actions in Syria

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying on Dec. 4 responded to questions about Russian President Putin's remarks the day before at his state of the nation address, and Russia's role in Syria:

"China's position is consistent and clear. We oppose all forms of terrorism and the application of double standards on the issue of counter-terrorism. We believe that the international community should conduct counter-terrorism cooperation following the purposes and principles of the UN Charter as well as other well-recognized basic norms guiding international relations. All parties should step up coordination and communication, narrow differences, and adopt comprehensive measures so as to forge synergy in combating terrorism. The international community should earnestly implement relevant counter-terrorism resolutions of the UN Security Council and carry out more effective cooperation in fields like cutting off terrorist financing.

"Leaders of China and Russia have reached major consensus on further aligning the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union," she added.

Then in response to a second question, as to whether or not China was opposed to Russia's role in Syria, since it was not done via the UN, Hua Chunying was emphatic:

"As for Russia's counter-terrorism campaign in Syria, China noted that it was launched at the Syrian government's request and was meant to deliver a blow to terrorist forces inside Syria. The Chinese side always understands and supports counter-terrorism actions that are in line with international law and with the consent of the government concerned ... At the same time, China believes that relevant parties should earnestly implement relevant counter-terrorism resolutions of the UN Security Council and give full play to the UN's leading role. Actually, President Putin also called for the establishment of a united front against terrorism under the aegis of the UN in his state of the nation address."
