On Tuesday, April 9^th, the U.S. Congress will return to Washington. $61.4 billion in new funding for the Ukraine War is the main item on the “must pass” Washington agenda, along with reauthorization of FISA, the post 9/11 main pillar of support for our current satanic surveillance state. LaRouche PAC and Promethean Action are out to cancel both by educating the citizenry regarding what is at stake. All signs currently point to the Republican House caving, despite the adamant opposition to both measures by the U.S. population. But these cowards are terrified of this aroused American population. That is why, for the first time in post-World War II history, the U.S. House, to date, has refused to go along to get along, throwing corrupted Washington into desperate panic.

For the first time in a very long time, the antiwar candidate, Donald Trump, has stymied the Deep State, the Blob, the MIC, whatever you choose to call the oligarchical evil in our midst. In this series of posts, we’ll start with the current political and military situation and then work backwards through the horrific and bloody history of both measures.  We want you to confront your Representative with this message:  End your participation now in the Committee to Blow Up the World.  Start by denying the Ukraine money and ending FISA. Insist, instead, on peace negotiations and the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

The American people are being asked to fund what is best described as a charnel house of needless death. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians have been killed to date. Eastern Ukraine, the former industrial center of the country, is in ruins. Ukraine itself is in demographic collapse. Most young people and working aged men have fled or been killed or wounded. The remaining population tilts heavily toward pensioners, the war wounded, and the disabled. No one wants to join a fight viewed as suicidal, so the Ukrainian armed forces can’t recruit. New potential soldiers are being kidnapped off the streets, marched through minimal training and thrown to the frontline. The draft age has just been lowered. The British whose lust against Russia goes back decades, along with their American toadies, know this. They now propose to staff the war with mercenaries and terrorist assets from the Middle East. Already numerous NATO troops and Americans are on the ground, dressed as mercenaries and contractors, despite Washington’s promise that there would absolutely not be boots on the ground because that would result in full-scale European war.

The Queen of this nihilistic destruction until recently was Victoria Nuland, dime store Napolean impersonator and wife to Robert Kagan, dean of the so-called Washington military industrial blob, the same man who fantasizes about assassinating Donald Trump on the pages of the Washington Post. In her final pronunciamentos as third in command at the State Department and Viceroy to Ukraine, Nuland promised wet works, terrorist attacks, and other hybrid warfare attacks on Russa, keeping, thereby, the illusions about this war afloat. Those attacks are now proceeding.  It is likely that Russia will respond to these attacks on Russian soil without the restraints characterizing its operations in Ukraine to date, creating even more devastation. To the extent NATO participates in Nuland’s mooted direct attacks on Russia, they invite the European war which their propaganda tropes fantasize.

So, now the American people are being polled and polled and polled about what lies can be told or what events created which will win them over to fund this war which is already lost. Every day we hear from a unitary corporate media that a victorious Russia will march on from Ukraine and conquer all of Europe, the same concoction sold in the two previous world wars. We’re told that making this a loan or using Russian assets seized when the war broke out to pay for Ukraine will make this far less poisonous to the American people. A new kicker is that Biden will roll back his recent ban on new LNG gas permits and exports in exchange for the Ukraine funding going through. In addition, we are told that funding this war will provide a gargantuan boost to the U.S. manufacturing and industrial base through production here of bullets, drones, tanks, and other weapons. All of this is bull pucky, plain and simple.

Most dangerous, in this poisonous brew, is the so-called REPO use of Russian assets to fund Ukraine. The dollar is still the world’s reserve currency. Its neutrality is what invites a stable flow of investment into the United States. Republican and Democratic proponents of this idiocy and their K Street whisperers seem to believe that the most efficient course for saving taxpayer money on Ukraine involves devaluing the dollar and crashing the U.S. economy.  The lawyer who is Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson is proving that he understands neither war nor economy.  He describes this gambit as “pure poetry,” showing his ignorance of this science also.

In a recent interview, MIT Professor Emeritus Ted Postol summarized the matter succinctly by imagining what Joe Biden would say to the American people were he to tell them the truth: “’I got you into a war that was totally avoidable. We spent enormous amounts of money on this war. We killed, you know, three-quarters of a million innocent people who didn’t have to fight. It was a war of choice. We used the Ukrainian population as meat for the meat grinder. We destroyed their society for decades, because the demographics of the society are going to be [older]. People between 20 and 40 are going to have been depleted.’ This affects birth rates later on, you know? I don’t think he would get re-elected making those campaign statements.”  He might have noted that European politicians who have supported this war also cannot electorally survive this truth. Hence, the madness and raving vows to continue the war at whatever cost.

Postol joined other U.S. and European military experts in noting that Russia has now secured victory with respect to the limited goals of its “special operation.” It has total air superiority. The Ukrainians are out of native deployable troops. Modern Russian drones and glide bombs decimate every significant Ukrainian troop movement. Instead of bleeding Russia dry, as Biden et al. proclaimed, the war has triggered a massive Russian arms buildup with a defense industrial base now far outpacing anything in the West. The war and sanctions have transformed Russia from a raw materials exporter to a modern manufacturing giant. Instead of “isolating” Russia, most of the world’s population sides with Russia or refuses to side with the United States. New economic ties with China are feeding growth in both countries while the U.S. and European economies stagnate and collapse under insane Green Energy mandates.

This is particularly acute in Germany where the collapse of access to Russian gas and oil has thrown the economy into depression. Biden’s destruction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline was the last step in a years’ long CIA/MI6 campaign to break Germany’s energy relationship to Russia. In that plan, Ukrainian fracking and pipeline operations and U.S. LNG were supposed to make up the difference in energy supplies. That is why Hunter Biden and Joe Biden’s dealings with Ukraine are protected. That is why President Donald Trump’s questions about Biden’s operations in Ukraine resulted in his first impeachment trial. Hunter’s job with Ukraine’s Burisma and its related monetary kickbacks were part of this major Anglo-American intelligence operation.

It is not accidental that LNG companies are major contributors to both Joe Biden and Mike Johnson.  They have reaped billions from the ongoing war.  Proving General Smedley
Butler’s edict that “war is a racket,” Blackrock and JP Morgan are both major holders of Ukraine’s sovereign debt, investors in the U.S. “Big Five” defense contractors, and contractors for Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction. 

Dr. Postol noted in his interview that all real and successful military generals are students of history. But the current ideologically driven Washington consensus consists of utopian madmen and fabulists. They believe their own propaganda and have lost touch with reality. He notes that any student of World War II would never have participated in the failed Ukrainian counteroffensive in which billions of U.S. taxpayer treasure and million dollar wonder weapons were previously blown up. “All you have to do is look at Operation Cobra, and then look at the Surovikin Line [Russian commander Gen. Sergey Surovikin’s defenses in Ukraine—ed.],” Postol notes. This is a terrifically capable defensive structure that was built by the Russians against the so-called counteroffensive. How could any soldier who knows any history and has two neurons to rub together, think that this kind of operation could have succeeded? And the answer is, a boatload of soldiers knew it couldn’t succeed, but their higher-level officers were dreaming. I think there were rooms filled with colonels and lieutenant colonels watching these three- and four-star guys reliving the Gulf War of ’91, where they were dealing with a third-world adversary with a third-class army, and saying to themselves—these colonels—my God, we’re going to have a massacre. And we have a massacre.”
