BAE Scandal Exposed on Iranian Broadcasting Radio

WIESBADEN, June 27, 2007 (LPAC)--Michael Weissbach, a representative of the BueSo political party in Germany, gave a half-hour interview to the German-language news program of IRIB Iranian radio, today. The interview had been originally scheduled to discuss the Transrapid magnetic levitation train project between Germany and Iran, but then changed to the depth and international implications of the mega-scandal around BAE.

The interview contained four parts: First, the genesis of the scandal, starting with the BBC coverage of the Al-Yamanah deal between Britain and Saudi Arabia. Second, the connections to the 9/11 incident as developed by Lyndon LaRouche in his June 21 webcast, Cheney as the Herman Goering of the Empire faction and the followup of the Washington Post "Angler" series on Cheney, as a signal piece that Cheney has become a liability to the war faction.

The third part covered the changed atmosphere in and around Washington, and the new impetus and force the BAE scandal has already given to the movement for the ouster of Cheney in the near future. After questions on the regional situation in Afgahnistan, Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine, and their connections to the BAE scandal, the last question was on the alternative to the war policies. Weissbach laid out the ideas of the LaRouche movement for policies of peace through economic development. He touched on the Moscow "Mega Projects" conference on the Bering Strait tunnel and other initiatives of Russia, China and other nations for building the Eurasian Land-Bridge.

The interview will be written up for the IRIB website and circulated among a network of persons and institutions, including offices of parliamentarians in Berlin. Usually, the radio network also receives ample feedback on their more interesting broadcasts.
