Bipartisan Group of Senators Press for Release of Report on 9/11

May 18 (EIRNS)--Democratic Senate Intelligence Committee leaders Ron Wyden and Jay Rockfeller and senior Republican Kit Bond have introduced legislation that would require the CIA to declassify an excecutive summary of the Inspector General's report on 9/11. For more than 20 months the CIA has fended off FOIA requests for its internal investigation but has yet to release any portions. Wyden said, "It's amazing the efforts this Administration is going to to stonewall this."
