Another Cheney 'Honorable Man'

May 14 (EIRNS)--Dick Cheney said of neo-con warmonger Paul Wolfowitz today, "I think Paul is one of the most able public servants I've ever known.... I think he is a very good president of the World Bank, and I hope he will be able to continue." A month before his praise of Wolfowitz in a Fox News interview, Cheney praised Scooter Libby, convicted of lying and obstructing an investigation. "He's one of the most dedicated public servants I've ever worked with," he told CBS's Face The Nation.

The Executive Board at the World Bank is expected to announce their verdict on the conflict of interest charges against Wolfowitz on Tuesday.
