Cheney Rat Abandons Sinking Wolfowitz Ship
May 7 (EIRNS)--As pressure mounts for the removal of Paul Wolfowitz as President of the World Bank, a top aide to Wolfowitz, Kevin Kellems, reading the handwriting on the wall, announced his resignation today. In a statement reported by the Wall Street Journal, Kellems wrote: "Given the current environment surrounding the leadership of the World Bank Group, it is very difficult to be effective in helping to advance the mission of the institution. Therefore, I have decided to leave for other opportunities." Kellems previously worked at the Bush White House as a spokesman for Dick Cheney before joining the World Bank nearly two years ago.
