Gingrich, Kerry Engage in Controlled "Debate"; Both Agree on Global Warming Hoax
WASH, D.C. April 10 Gingrich, Kerry engage in controlled "debate"; both agree on global warming hoax; take differing sides on economic action to reduce CO2emissions, according to a pat British script. Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and U.S. Senator John Kerry (D-MA) agreed on all the fundamental premises of the global warming hoax during a staged "debate" held at the U.S. Senate this morning. Calling the need for carbon emission reductions urgent, each man proceeded to outline one of the three proposals for economic response to climate change, put forward to Congress in February by the team of British government officials: David Miliband, Secretary of the Environment, and Sir Nicholas Stern, consultant on global warming. Kerry called for "global pricing of carbon," which is the plan for governments to cap carbon emissions, and unleash trading in carbon credits and allowances. Gingrich, saying Kerry's view invited "bureaucracy and litigation," called instead for tax credits for companies and entities to reduce carbon emissions. (Neither called for taxes as a means to reduced carbon emissions).
Addressing the standing-room only crowd, the two held forth on their respective action plans. Gingrich, in pushing "green conservatism," argued for providing tax credits for carbon sequestration and reducing CO2emissions. He calls this "incentivizing the marketplace." Kerry, in calling for a carbon "cap and trade" program (buying and selling carbon credits depending if you are above or below a set emissions standard), said that the United States must "set a standard so the genius of the marketplace takes over." Kerry repeatedly and favorably cited the corporations comprising the financiers' United States Climate Action Partership (USCAP) group, such as DuPont, GE, ARP, Florida Power & Light, etc. Kerry said that the CEOs of these companies are "desperately pleading on us to set a price" for carbon.
