Did We Make Money on That Fart? Global Warming Hoaxsters Plan 'Wind Speed Derivatives'
April 26, 2007 (EIRNS)--Risk Management Solutions (RMS) is a financial speculative company employing Bob May, former secretary of the British Royal Society, who is currently leading a nasty attack to prevent producer Martin Durkin from bringing out British Channel 4's "Great Global Warming Swindle" expose as a DVD. Now RMS has thought of a Rube Goldberg device to connect weather stations with derivative products and hedge fund plays.
RMS--serving global insurance conglomerates--and WeatherFlow, in preparation for the 2007 hurricane season, are implementing a system of 200 weather stations linked to the creation of financial derivatives contracts. Their software "is based on location-specific wind speed values which trigger a wide range of financial structures, including over-the-counter derivative contracts, catastrophe bonds, and industry loss warranties."
According to this scheme, New Orleans didn't need levees, just "hedges," so its residents could place bets on their city's disaster.
