January 16, 2007 (LPAC)--New York City Mayor Michael "Benito" Bloomberg, the undeclared wanna-be presidential candidate, has picked Wall Street's Steven Rattner to manage his multi-billion fortune. Rattner, former lead fundraiser for "Wall Street for Gore," and former deputy chief of the investment banking firm Lazard Freres where Felix Rohatyn was his boss, will take the job, according to the New York Post. "Bloomin' idiot" pick Rattner is now the managing principal of Quadrangle Group, a private investment firm with more than $5 billion in assets under management. Rattner's wife as of February 2007 was National Finance Chair of the Democratic National Committee.
