October 16 2008 (LPAC)-- On Oct. 13, the Republican National Committee released a statement entitled: "Now that Obama Friend and Fundraiser is Talking to Federal Authorities, What is he Telling them?" The statement asks the following questions:

Is Rezko explaining how much tainted money he has provided to Obama's political campaigns?

Is Rezko explaining what favors Obama or his office provided to him?

Is Rezko describing how he helped Obama save $300,000 in Obama's House?

Is Rezko Explaining whether or not Obama could have afforded his home without Rezko's help?

Is Rezko describing the toast Obama gave to Iraqi billionaire Nadhmi Auchi at a reception in Rezko's home?

Is Rezko decribing whether Obama is the Illinois government official Rezko asked to help Auchi obtain a visa?

Is Rezko describing the $3.5 million wire transfer provided to him by Nadhmi Auchi?

Is Rezko describing Joseph Cari's relationship with Joe Biden?

The RNC statement reports that Auchi, an Iraqi who moved to Great Britain in 1981 and who was convicted of fraud in France, sent the $3.5 million wire transfer to Rezko less than two months before the Obamas and Rita Rezko closed on the purchases of the Obama home and the adjoining lot respectively.

In another item posted on October 11 on the American Thinker blog entitled "Rezko Singing: Obama Sweating?" author Rick Moran points out that Federal Prosecutor Fitzgerald may also be asking Rezko about one of his cronies, Alexi Giannoulias, with Obama's support now the Secretary of the Treasury in Illinois, who in 1996 was the vice president and chief loan officer of the Broadway Bank, from whom Obama obtained a loan on his first town home in Chicago. According to Moran, Giannoulias is so "tainted by reputed mob links that several top Illinois Democrats, including the state's speaker of the House and party chairman, refused to endorse him even after he won the Democratic nomination with Obama's help."
