Danes Choose General Welfare over Tax Cuts

13 Jun 2007

COPENHAGEN, June 13, 2007 (LPAC)--The attempts by George Shultz and the Neocon machine to transform the population of Denmark into egoistic liberal fanatics have failed miserably.

A study done by Ramboll Management, published in the daily Jyllands-Posten today, shows that 74% of the Danish population prefer increased public spending on infrastructure, health care, education, etc. to tax cuts. That figure has even increased from 67% one year ago.

The Conservative Party leadership, which has been pushing for the government to spend a present budget surplus on tax cuts, is outnumbered two to one among their own voters.
