December 19, 2009 (LPAC)—After getting the latest report on the fiasco at Copenhagen, Lyndon LaRouche assessed that Obama is on the edge of being dead meat. Obama is a total failure, is expendable for the British, so we must make sure that his security screen is redoubled. The very worst thing would be for Obama to be killed. This is LaRouche's assessment, based on trends.
With respect to the Copenhagen conference per se, we have reached the point where nobody, except a few diehard radical environmentalists and Malthusian freaks, believes that it has any meaning. It has come unglued, fallen apart. Now look for the hardcore fanatics to scream and yell that "we've been robbed."
It is noteworthy, in the context of LaRouche's warnings about Obama's security, that the British press, throughout the day on Friday, was trashing Obama's speech and actions at Copenhagen in the most vicious terms. In the end, Obama literally had to break down a door, to get at the Chinese, Indian, South African and Brazilian leaders, to extract a deal, that amounted to a collective admission that the conference was a total bust, and that all the nasty world government schemes that Lord Monckton warned about, had been foiled—at least for the time being.
We have got to follow these events through to their bitter end in Copenhagen, as the final reports come in today. Failure of the whole Copenhagen effort will bring Obama down even further. He will be finished, politically, and that will mean he is in real danger. Lyn expressed personal great concern. Once Obama is seen as absolutely worthless as a political asset, his former political sponsors will move to eliminate him. That is the greatest danger at this moment. We cannot allow a presidential assassination. We have seen too many instances in the past, where the British killed an American President to serve their strategic needs. Politically, Obama is a piece of crap, but we do not want to see him assassinated, under any circumstances. They have to sharpen up Obama's security. They should do the same for Berlusconi too.
Even if the Copenhagen process is rolled back years, and there is an attempt to claim a half-hearted "victory," as now appears to be the case, it still spells doomsday for the Obama Presidency, as it is presently constituted. This applies especially with the recent reports we have received that Larry Summers and Susan Rice are "on the ascent." These two are the most flagrant agents of the British imperial system in the entire White House mix. They've got to be publicly exposed and removed!
LaRouche also took note of reports that Bernanke's confirmation by the US Senate is by no means a done deal. Sources say he could get 35 "no" votes when the full Senate takes up his nomination sometime in January 2010. Once they recess at Christmas, the Senate won't be back in session, as of the current calendar, until about Jan. 20. His term expires on Jan. 31, and there are at least four holds on his nomination by Republican Senators. If he can't get 70 "yes" votes, he may be pressured to step down. Already, Paul Volcker and John Taylor (assistant treasury secretary for international affairs under Bush 43) are being named as possible alternatives to Bernanke. Larry Kudlow is suggesting Bernanke step down, if he can't get 70 Senators to support his reconfirmation. LaRouche commented that the real issue is that the lie of Fed solvency cannot be continued. It is the Fed that is totally bankrupt, and it may be that the Fed is the coffin that they carry Bernanke out in. We have reached the point where we have to have bankruptcy reorganization. By passing a restoration of Glass Steagall, we can at least buy the time to carry out the needed bankruptcy reorganization, in an orderly fashion. We are seeing the eruption of a real fight over the Glass-Steagall issue within the Congress and within the institution of the Presidency.
We are also tracking a growing political crisis in Pakistan, fueled by the Supreme Court decision, on Wednesday, Dec. 16, rescinding the amnesty law that covered Zardari, at least two top cabinet ministers (interior and defense), and a total of 8,000 politicians. Nawaf Sharif is peddling the ouster of Zardari, and he is a Saudi agent. LaRouche commented that Sharif's behavior, under these volatile circumstances is only going to get him killed. People are furious, and Sharif has attracted much of the hatred. This is under the kind of conditions where people get themselves killed.
Therefore, LaRouche emphasized, we need Russia, China and India to get together to move the Four Powers agreements ahead now! This is the only way to solve this crisis, by Four Powers cooperation. LaRouche said that he knows the obstacles to this, especially the obstacles in Russia, where there is this insane idea of "image forecasting." This is premised on the idea that you can assess cultural trends, and make forecasts based on those trends. We have entered a phase where the only policies that will work are those explicitly not based on existing trends. Existing trends have failed, and a continuation, after that point of failure, can spell doom. Despite this cultural baggage in Russia, the Four Powers is the only answer to the Afghanistan-Pakistan crisis. What is needed, across the board, are radical, sudden changes that break the pattern.
LaRouche also commented on various reports, including Morgan Stanley and Carlyle Group forecasts to clients, of sovereign defaults being imminent in Greece and Spain (ECB/EU does not have the resources to do a bail-out, even a temporary bail-out). One Danish bank, as reported by Ambrose Evans-Pritchard in Friday's Daily Telegraph, says that both the Japanese yen and the Chinese yuan will crash, due to overwhelming bank defaults. LaRouche said the most likely cause of a Chinese default would be a failure of the U.S. to continue to pay Treasury obligations. Any such event would bring down the whole system. If China goes, the US, the UK, all fall down.
