October 19, 2009 (LPAC)—The Oct. 15 demonstration of some 200,000 people in Mexico's central plaza, the Zocalo, protesting the Calderon government's British-ordered seizure of the state-run Luz y Fuerza del Centro (LyFC) electricity company, included a LYM banner reading: "It's not LyFC that's bankrupt, but the world economy." Some of the signs and banners carried by the protesting SME union workers and their allies, were quite poignant, and showed an understanding of how the destruction of productive employment will push the country further into the waiting arms of London's Dope, Inc. apparatus.
* "Job wanted: narco, thief—LyF unemployed"
* "Now what do I do? Kill, steal and kidnap?"
* "For sale: wife and two kids; I can't feed them—LyF unemployed"
* "Calderon: My family didn't eat today; how about yours?"
* "Calderon, take 500,000 pesos in severance, and set up your street stand"
* "Street kids support the electrical workers."
