LAROUCHEPAC:
The two-thirds of the 30% unemployed are not only getting no unemployment compensation,— they're losing all healthcare as well. Fifteen thousand Americans are losing health insurance every day, mostly because of unemployment; five million per year. Medicaid should catch a great deal of this; only last October, the state budget officers association thought Medicaid spending would increase by 4%-5% this year, but, in fact, it had already fallen 8% by May-June. About $35 billion in Medicaid cuts have been made around the country, but, meanwhile, increased unemployment would have necessitated $10-15 billion of INCREASED Medicaid spending. Thus, there is already a hole of about $45-50 billion in Medicaid, while Obama has said that the $25 billion in "stimulus" money designated for Medicaid is all there will be this year.
"Adolf Hitler would be pleased with that," said Lyndon LaRouche.
What has just begun, is the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) wants huge cuts to specialists as early as the beginning of next year; these will be included in Obama's Nazi "reforms." Physicians who read X-rays, CT and MRI scans will get a 30% cut Jan. 1, on top of a 23% cut they got five years ago. Radiation oncologists will get a 20% cut; impact on practices is estimated at an 18%-31% cut in revenue. The American Society for Radiation Oncology said many centers would close, or refuse Medicare patients.
Specialists at a news conference Wednesday morning said that the required utilization of imaging and therapeutic radiation machines would rise from 40%-50% at present, to 95%. This will force the shutdown of many centers, especially in rural and minority areas, and lead to vast increases in preventable cancer deaths in the US. Making us like Britain, one might add.
"You've got a clear case here, for saying that the policy is to accelerate the death rate," LaRouche said. "We should say so! People object to calling this guy a Hitler; he IS a Hitler. Some people don't like to hear that, but that's the truth. The son of a bitch is a Hitler, and I think the word is son-of-a-bitch!"
CMS has also started a website ranking US hospitals on the number of re-admissions, coming off Obama's statement Tuesday, that, just as you should blame the mechanics if your car fails again after leaving the shop, so a hospital has failed if they must re-admit you within 30 days for the same condition that brought you there before.
"This is Hitler stuff," LaRouche said. "Who's this son-of-a-bitch out there? This is Hitler stuff! He wants to kill people. The President who wants to kill people!"
Senator Baucus's bipartisan negotiations with two other Democrats and five Republicans in the Senate Finance Committee, are going nowhere fast, despite a lying Wednesday Washington Post article to the contrary. But the New York Times lets the cat out of the bag: Baucus's "coalition of the willing" has agreed to eliminate the Children's Health Insurance Program, CHIP, and throw 11 million children off its rolls.
Another startling leak from Baucus's secret negotiations in the Senate, is that they have not only accepted Orszag's "T4" committee, called IMAC, but have gone even further than Orszag, stipulating that IMAC must cut Medicare by at least $35 billion over the first ten years. "Mass murder!" said LaRouche. "Son of a bitch!"
Obama says everything's getting better; the economy's recovering. We should say he's a liar! This Presidency has more lies than Dick Nixon and George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush all put together. "I think we should say that: more lies than the Nixon and Bush Presidencies put together. One might even throw in the would-be Gore Presidency."
House Energy Committee Chairman Henry Waxman reached an agreement with four of seven "Blue Dog" members Wednesday morning, which included an agreement that no "healthcare" legislation will come to the floor of the House before its July 31 recess. Given that the Senate has agreed on the same thing, Obama's August deadline is out the window; no legislation will be voted, if at all, until after Congress comes back into session in September,— a great victory for us.
Meanwhile, as Congressmen prepare to return home to face the music, LaRouche's attack on Obamacare as Hitler-like euthanasia is everywhere. Most recently, it is the subject of a Washington Times editorial this morning, entitled, "A Euthanasia Mandate," and of a fiery floor speech Tuesday by Rep. Virginia Foxx, Republican of Virginia, who said healthcare reform will "cause seniors to be put to death by their government."
"So, what's wrong saying with that?" asked LaRouche. "It's true!"
