Why Is Obama Writing Off the Voters of W. Virginia and Kentucky?

11 May 2008

May 11, 2008 (LPAC)--Clinton campaign strategist Howard Wolfson, along
with her campaign chairman Terry McAuliffe, confirmed today that
Senator Hillary Clinton is in the campaign to the Democratic
convention, and is running to win.

"If Senator Obama wants to see Senator Clinton concede the
race," Wolfson asksed, "Why doesn't he go out and beat her in
West Virginia, or beat her in Kentucky? The Democratic voters in
those states have heard now, that he's the `presumptive
nominee'--why doesn't he think he should try to win those states?
Why is Senator Obama writing off the voters of West Virginia?
It's an important swing state; he's not campaigning there; why is
he writing West Virginia off?"
