British to Use Australia as Battering Ram Against Asia

Melbourne, April 12, 2008 (LPAC)--British Trade and Investment Minister, Lord Digby Jones, currently visiting Australia, let slip the British Empire's strategic goal of destroying the United States, and of dominating Asia. "The 19th century belonged to my country, and the 20th century belonged to America. The 21st century belongs to Asia," he proclaimed, while boasting that London is the "world financial capital." He called for Britain to be a major part of Australia's "drive into Asia," stating that Australia must recruit China and India to obey British neo-Malthusian dictatates for "solving climate change." "Britain is fortunate to have a former colony working so successfully with Asian businesses," he gloated, according to The Age of April 3.

Lord Jones's visit followed upon the January announcement by British Foreign Secretary David Miliband, that Britain would strengthen ties to Australia in order to gain access to Asia. Miliband stressed that newly-elected Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd will be key to British operations there. Rudd is closely linked to "Third Way" Labour factions in London, has connections in China and is fluent in Mandarin, and is a fanatical supporter of Al Gore and his global warming scam.

The idea that Australia should be the British Empire's stepping stone for Asia and the Pacific, was prominently touted in a 1995 Royal Institute of International Affairs report, "Economic Opportunities for Britain and the Commonwealth," which emphasized that the old links of the British Empire still exist, and that Australia should be a corporate and financial center for Britain's activities in Asia. The report chronicled the astounding British foreign investment in Australia (and Australian investment in Britain), and the fact that hundreds of British corporations had already opened up shop in Australia as their headquarters for Asia.

As part of his present world tour, Rudd has thus far met with Bush, Cheney, Queen Elizabeth II, and Sarkozy, and has become the first Australian Prime Minister to attend a NATO meeting. He also is interventing in China, urging the Chinese government to address "human rights issues" in Tibet, as well as global warming.
