April 11, 2008 (LPAC)--On April 11, 1951, at 1:00 a.m., President Harry Truman announced the firing of U.S. Supreme Commander Douglas MacArthur, inflicting damage on the U.S. military from which it has never recovered.
"Truman was getting rid of patriots he couldn't deal with otherwise," American statesman Lyndon LaRouche said. "It was a [Winston] Churchill operation. Churchill hated MacArthur, and Truman did Churchill a favor."
