December 4, 2008 (LPAC)--The U.S. Treasury Department has exhaustive evidence about Saudi Arabian government financing of radical Islamic networks of terrorists, including those involved in the attacks last week in Mumbai, India, reported well-informed U.S. intelligence sources. But the Saudis are still getting "special treatment," despite this evidence, including information that ties the training camps of the Lashkar e-Toiba to Saudi funding in Pakistan.
In the wake of the Mumbai attack, Lyndon LaRouche asked, ``Will the Saudi sponsored terrorists find themselves in hot water, now that George W. Bush is leaving office?'' LaRouche has repeatedly pointed to the role of George W. Bush in protecting the Saudi terrorist networks that are known to be close to Prince Bandar bin-Sultan, the long time Saudi ambassador to the U.S. (until 2006), and central figure in the British Al Yamamah bribery scandal involving the BAE defense giant.
The Saudi terrorist financing goes through the City of London, the sources report, where dozens of terrorist groups, and terrorists wanted in various nations victimized by Islamic fundamentalist attacks, have offices and organizations in Britain, where they have been given sanctuary, as long as they do not commit or conspire to commit crimes on British soil. The Saudi funding also goes directly to madrassas (Islamic schools) and training camps, in Pakistan, and other parts of Southwest, South and Southeast Asia, where the spread of Wahabi Islamic doctrine is mandated as part of the funding, the sources report. The Bush administration has done nothing against either the Saudis or the British for their sponsoring and protecting these terrorists.
