October 14, 2008 (LPAC)--"This is a bailout of the British system, concocted by former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan in his capacity as advisor to the British government, and therefore a de facto British agent," Lyndon LaRouche said of the measures announced this morning.
"We must raise a second question," he continued. "We have to have grave doubts about Bush's sanity, and also about the sanity of those who elected him.
"Until you are willing to simply cancel all derivatives contracts worldwide," LaRouche warned, "we are doomed, based on this policy, to global hyperinflation.
"The actions announced over the weekend and today will go down as the most incompetent decisions in modern history, by the most incompetent government in all modern history," LaRouche concluded. (The "action announced over the weekend" he referred to, was the Fed's opening unlimited dollar credit-lines to European central banks.)
