Saturday Night Live Hits Pelosi, Frank and Soros for Running the Paulson Bailout

October 5, 2008 (LPAC) - Saturday Night Live has again learned something from LaRouche. On Oct. 4 they ran a skit beginning with Bush, Pelosi and Frank, with Pelosi and Frank ridiculing Bush, but praising him on the bailout for finally doing something right without screwing it up, but otherwise taking full credit for ramming the swindle through the Congress. An approximate transcript of the section follows:

Barney Frank: You probably wonder where the $700 billion went. To answer that, here is our dear friend, the billionaire hedge fund manager George Soros.

Soros: Where did the $700 billion go? Quite simply, it belongs to me now. Actually, it's not even in dollars now, but in Swiss francs, since I've taken short positions against the dollar. (Bush objects, Soros says "Get away, I don't like you.") The dollar will have to be devalued sometime next week -- either Tuesday or Wednesday, I haven't decided."

Frank: You're a wise man Mr. Soros, better than we are.

The caption under Soros reads: "George Soros--Multi-billionaire Hedge-Fund Manager, Owner of the Democratic Party."
