September 29, 2008 (LPAC)-- Capturing the mood in the population, the Sunday edition of FAZ runs a big picture of a demonstration on Wall Street where half the picture is nominated by one picket reading "JUMP YOU F*CKERS" alongside an American flag. It is not known whether this picture was carried in the British press but at least one City of London banker took it to heart. Kirk Stephenson, 47, the CEO of the "most successful private equity firm" jumped in front of a train according to today's Independent.

There are, of course, saner ways to deal with the crisis...
