Lyndon LaRouche Warns Against Soros' "Tet Offensive"

August 27, 2008 (LPAC)--"A 'Tet Offensive' mentality is loose in Washington today," Lyndon LaRouche warned this afternoon. "George Soros and other British-controlled forces are driving the United States to the brink of war; they have pushed the world to the edge of what could be thermonuclear war."

George Soros, the British agent, is the guiding hand--and bank account--behind the government of the unstable President Mikhail Shaakashvili in Georgia, which recently unleashed slaughter of innocent civilians in South Ossetia as part of London's failed effort to bluff the Russian government into a strategic backdown.

"This is the overriding dynamic of strategic developments," LaRouche stated. "It is the political essence of the situation: We are on the verge of a 'Tet Offensive' on all fronts. And it will lead to a general breakdown, just like what occurred with the first Tet Offensive. That type of an offensive cannot be sustained, and it will lead to a catastrophe for those who do it, just like it did for General William Westmoreland 40 years ago."

"Those who are playing the Westmoreland card today are doomed, strategically," LaRouche said. "This will prove a disaster for the United States--and it could be a nuclear one. The question is," LaRouche said, "who are the Robert McNamaras of the moment?"
