July 25, 2008 (LPAC)--Seriously concerned citizens from all nations look to the United States to assume its identity as the sovereign republic it was founded to be, and initiate talks with the leading nations of Russia, China and India, to end the genocidal British free trade system. Presidential pre-candidate Senator Barack Obama visited Berlin on Thursday; his rock-star event became a showground for a healthy clash between mass worship and political reality.

Organizers of the LaRouche Youth Movement (LYM) in Berlin took up the call for an open Democratic convention made by the grass-roots organization PUMA, who published their call with a picture of Franklin Roosevelt and the simple, but ominous question, "Would Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi Have Kept His Name Off The Ballot?"

People arrived at the venue hours before the event was to begin, to find T-Shirt vendors, beer stands and loudspeaker towers lining the boulevard up to the Victory Column. As one LYM organizer remarked, it was reminiscent of Woodstock meets Nuremberg. Organizers found the most openness from people who were actually concerned about whose hands the United States would be in after the coming election. Die-hard Obama supporters, who, living and watching TV in Germany, have little connection with the current banking, housing and general economic crisis in the U.S., flatly refused to have a discussion, preaching the argument of the DNC bureaucracy, that the delegate votes are what count and "now we need unity."

The feisty political atmosphere resulting from the PUMA challenge was of a good nature, until the people from the Obama Campaign ordered security guards not only to chase the youth distributing fliers away from the entrance, but even to take every single leaflet away from people going in to the event under the threat of not being allowed in the event with flier in hand. Actions such as these define more clearly what kind of "party unity" is being pushed.

The open contempt for democratic principles and important debate of reality impacting the lives of millions of people, was enough for many, especially younger people, to realize the fraud that the chanting masses were being led into. Organizers met a number of people who were hopeful, but disappointed in the complete lack of substance and disturbed by the set of issues defined as those well-known from the Bush-Cheney Administration.

When onlookers saw what transpired and spoke with the LYM organizers, the question of who, and what, controls the Obama campaign became the uncomfortable, but necessary question to investigate.

Boston.com reported on the event as well in a blog-article titled “Übermensch Comes to the Übermart.” The author devoted the bulk of the article to reporting on the Berlin LYM presence:

A few blocks away, Benjamin Lyllhoff, a 31-year old self-described "revolutionary," was manning a literature table for Bürgerrechtsbewegung Solidarität, the German offshoot of Lyndon LaRouche’s organization. The most freshly scrawled sign carried a big picture of Obama, addressing the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC, with a caption suggesting that his campaign was funded by "Nazi collaborator" George Soros, the financier who gives generously to Democratic causes.

Obama joined LaRouche's pantheon of global-finance villains just a week ago. "All the time we have new signs because there are always new things happening," said Lyllhoff. Obama was going to receive his party's nomination because "the Democratic National Committee’s under the control of the British Empire," Lyllhoff explained. "The reason they're promoting him is to get rid of Hillary because she was the one attacking the Wall Street bankers, like Roosevelt did." He added that "a lot of the promotion for Obama has been because of the faith-based initiatives supported by Wall Street bankers. It was Karl Rove's idea to get money designated into the black communities whose priests go for Obama. And you have the media, who are mostly run from London, and you have the Al Gore movement. Al Gore is really a British agent," Lyllhoff went on, tying Gore's concern about global warming to population-control policies to ideas about eugenics that propelled the rise of Nazism.

Why were so many other Germans falling for Obama, then? "We're being dumbed down. People don't understand history, so they don't question it when they see someone like Obama, who has a nice smile and says the right things," Lyllhoff said.
