LaRouche on Columbus, Ohio Radio, Gives Lesson in Statesmanship

July 7, 2008 (LPAC) -- Lyndon LaRouche's interview on Columbus, Ohio's "Magic 98.9" radio station Sunday morning is a lesson in statecraft, and an example of how consistent outreach is opening up new capabilities. During the one-hour interview on the "Straight Talk Live" program, host Khari Enaharo gave LaRouche the opportunity to develop an in-depth picture of the economic crisis, and his unique understanding of the war between the British and American Systems, with deadly consequences if the forces of the Anglo-Dutch Liberal Empire were to prevail. The host said he took only two phone calls on the air, to give LaRouche time to develop his ideas, even though the phone lines were lit up throughout the program; calls continued into the station for twenty minutes after the interview ended.

Khari first introduced LaRouche to his listeners the weekend before the Ohio primary, when he brought LaRouche spokesman Harley Schlanger on to his program to discuss the rigging of the Democratic nomination against Sen. Hillary Clinton, by networks which included New York City Mayor Bloomberg, George Soros and Felix Rohatyn, using Senator Obama as their hand grenade. His program on Sunday morning is the highest-rated talk show in Columbus, with a largely educated African-American audience. The first program with Harley was explosive, generating more than forty-five phone calls into the PAC headquarters, as many callers wanted to know what we meant saying about Obama being a wrecking ball, and not a serious candidate.

Khari said the program generated intense controversy, as LYM members discovered later that day, when they found people discussing it at both Obama and Clinton campaign rallies.

A second interview with Harley covered the financial crisis, with a special focus on housing foreclosures and hyperinflation in food.

The interview with LaRouche came off Khari's shock at reading LaRouche's leaflet, "For the Moment, There Are Now Only Two Candidates". He asked, "How can he make a prediction like this? Will he come on my program?"
