March 30, 2008 (LPAC)--European Governments accepted the British Empire's agenda of global empire and the destruction of civilization, and made the decision, at a summit of EU heads of state on December 13, 2007, to ram the fascist Lisbon Treaty down the throats of the governments of the European Union. Since then, the forces associated with Helga Zepp-LaRouche and Jacques Cheminade have been fighting to get the European population to demand a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.
Since then, the resistance to the Lisbon treaty has been organizing various activities all over Europe. In Vienna, various Austrian organizations came together in a march of over 10,000 people in protest of the loss of democracy, which the Lisbon treaty represents. Simultaneously, LaRouche Youth Movement organizers in France, Germany, and Italy and a number of citizens' initiatives held similar demonstrations. Others are scheduled.
In Berlin, among the people involved in the demonstrations were members of Bueso, and other organizations. The Bueso is blanketing the entire country with a new leaflet which, first, goes through the main points of the Lisbon Treaty fascism, and second, provides a location for the public to sign up in opposition. Overall, the response from the citizenry has been very strong with hundreds of signatures being entered every day in support of a referendum! In the center of Paris, a demonstration of different groups included over 30 people organizing and distributing leaflets on the streets. A member of the European parliament, in support of this demonstration understood that only this kind of a citizens' initiative would work to restore democracy in Europe. These demonstrations, along with town hall meetings, and cultural events, which are meant to inspire people to fight a battle against tyranny and become a gargantuan force in society, are sure to put a kink into the plans of the London-based oligarchy.
Today, we must follow the example of patriot Franklin Delano Roosevelt who gained a landslide victory for the presidential bid in the 1932 democratic convention by appealing to and organizing the lower 80% of the population to fight for their natural rights. The key to destroying the influence of the British Empire, both in Europe and in the United States, is to mobilize the lower 80% of the citizenry and use them as a force to defeat fascism.
