"President George W. Bush. Jr.'s capacity for tolerating the incompetence of others has passed its limits. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson must resign for the sake of the reputation of President Bush's legacy.

The President is reported to have said: "As all of my signing statements prove to anyone who has been watching, it is me, President Bush, who is the only one authorized to make the big mistakes of this administration. Henry Paulson has just gone too far!"
