March 19, 2008 (LPAC)--Beijing has conveyed its discontent over U.S. House of Representative speaker, and a tool of the fascist Felix Rohatyn, Nancy Pelosi, scheduled to see the Dalai Lama in the hill town of Dharamsala on March 21. Pelosi is arriving in New Delhi on March 20 and would be in India for five days on her pilgrimage to the Dalai Lama. The U.S. Speaker is also expected to give a statement there and then spend time with Tibetan refugees. It may be noted that some 100 young Tibetans had started a march for Lhasa a few days ago from Dharamsala but were later rounded up by Indian authorities and are now in detention.

Prior to her departure, Pelosi issued a statement in Washington calling upon the Bush Administration to publicly condemn Chinese action and issue a travel warning to Tibet--as the British, the instigators of this "Tibetan uprising" against China, have already done. "The violent response by Chinese police forces to peaceful protesters in Tibet is disgraceful.... The Chinese government should immediately provide information the welfare and whereabouts of the detained Buddhist monks," said the addled House Speaker.

Pelosi was a prime mover in the decision last year to honour the Dalai Lama with the Congressional Gold Medal, a top U.S. civilian honor. China had protested to the United States against the move.
