Eight Dead, Dozens Injured in Jerusalem Religious School Attack
March 6, 2008 (LPAC)--A mass killing at a Jerusalem religious school, Mercaz Herav, a high school, and seminary is the worst terrorist attack in Jerusalem since January, 2004, when 11 people were killed in a bus bombing. Seven students were killed, and dozens more injured when the Palestinian gunmen fired on them before being killed himself by an Israeli SWAT team, reported the London Independent. According to the Lebanese television station run by Hezbollah, a group called the "Martyrs of Imad Mughniyeh and Gaza"--previously unknown--had claimed responsibility. Mughniyeh is the Hezbollah leader killed by a car bomb in Damascus last month, which many Arab media have blamed on the Israelis. The Jewish Journal, a Los Angeles based paper, says that this attack could enable the Israeli war hawks--e.g., Dick Cheney's friend, the fascist Likud leader, Bibi Netanyahu--to break Prime Minister Olmert's resistance to their demands for a full invasion of Gaza.
The incident--which comes on the same day that Olmert again talked about peace talks with Syria, in his discussion with the Israeli Knesset--portends another major escalation, as Lyndon LaRouche warned two days ago.
What LaRouche said, on March 2, when Gaza was exploding, was that what is happening in Gaza is a British destabilization to trigger a crisis right now, that none of the U.S. presidential candidates, the Bush Administration, or any other world leaders are equipped to handle.
"London is detonating a whole series of chaos operations--in Southwest Asia, in the Balkans, in South and Central Asia, in South America--all aimed at spreading chaos and paving the way for a global fascist system, run out of London. This is one global picture," LaRouche continued, "and must be seen in the context of the London drive to destroy the United States, once and for all, through their Bloomberg corporativist scheme, and to turn Europe once again into a fascist dictatorship, building towards war, through the Lisbon Treaty scheme to create a Brussels-based fascist corporativist mega-state."
