Rohatyn-Bloomberg Cabal Threaten the Irish--Say "Yes" to Lisbon Treaty

March 6, 2008 (LPAC)--Rohatyn's and Bloomberg's chamber of commerce agents are engaged in scandalous, direct attempts to influence the Irish referendum in favor of the Lisbon Treaty. Speaking in Dublin on Feb. 22, the newly-appointed President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland, Paul Rellis, said a critical attraction of Ireland to U.S. companies is its membership in the European Union and the access provided to Europe's 460 million citizens.

"U.S. foreign investment in Ireland now stands at over $83.6 billion," Rellis said. "An Ireland at the heart of an EU with reformed, strengthened and more accountable institutions is infinitely preferable to becoming a semi-detached obstacle to common progress across a continent.

"A no vote would send a very negative signal to the global business community and is likely to impact on foreign investment in Ireland," he said.
