January 12, 2008 (LPAC)--Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf minced no words in regard to suggestions that the U.S. might send troops from Afghanistan into the tribal areas of Pakistan to chase down Al Qaeda militants. According to Associated Press, Musharraf told the Singapore Straits Times that U.S. troops would "certainly" be considered invaders if they came across the border. "If they come without our permission, that's against the sovereignty of Pakistan," he said. "I challenge anybody coming into our mountains. They would regret that day."
