Schwarzenegger Channels Schact: "PAINFUL CHOICES ARE AHEAD"

January 8, 2008 (LPAC) - Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's State of the State address will warn of "painful choices" ahead, according to excerpts released by his office this afternoon. "For several years, we kept the budget wolf from the door...but the wolf is back," the Mussolini of the once- Golden State will tell legislators. In addition to across-the-board cuts this year, the Governor will draft a proposed Constitutional amendment to present to the voters, which would impose a spending cap on future budgets. Schwarzenegger already tried that, in 2005, and was defeated by a broad coalition of voters, which was spearheaded by activists from the LaRouche Youth Movement, who called it the "Make Arnie the Dictator Act."

The argument pushed by Schwarzenegger is the same one that one of his controllers, former Gov. Pete Wilson, presented in a special radio address on Saturday. Wilson, who collaborated closely with fascist George Shultz to put Arnie in the Governor's office, told listeners that California is presently suffering from a "cyclical downturn;" therefore, the state has no choice but to cut spending. The cuts can be restored, when the boom and bust cycle turns around, and gives the state more revenue - the so-called "pay-as-you-go" system, under which programs are never restored!

In reality, this whole approach is based on a two big lies. First, the budget crisis is not a "California" problem, but part of the global breakdown of the post-Bretton Woods system, which was imposed by Arnie's chief controller, George Shultz, in August 1971. Second, the intention of changing the state's Constitution is to give power to the Governor to ignore the needs of the people of California and, instead, serve the interests of the corporate cartels which put him in office. These include the banking, financial and insurance cartels, as well as the pharmaceutical and for-profit health care interests.

Part of the plans for California include innovative use of so-called Public-Private Partnerships, which would hand state infrastructure over to private firms. Shultz's longtime fascist collaborator, Felix Rohatyn, is working the Democratic side, to insure that no serious Democratic alternative emerges to combat Arnie's brutal cuts and destruction of government services. As Lyndon LaRouche has forcefully pointed out in the last days, the financial/corporate interests working with Shultz in California are the same which are behind the candidacy of New York Mayor Bloomberg for President, to impose a fascist "solution" on the U.S. Bloomberg's mutual admiration society with Schwarzenegger is more than two ego-driven opportunists banding together. They are the Corporatist Twins, front men masquerading in "post-partisan" guise, to enforce Schachtian fascist policy.

Details from the Terminator's State of the State address will be reported tomorrow.
