LaRouche pone de reliebe el derrumbe financiero mundial en entrevista radial
December 26, 2007 (LPAC)--In a Dec. 24 interview with a major southwest Asian news organization, Lyndon H. LaRouche made the following key points about the world strategic situation:
- LaRouche began with an overview of financial collapse. We will see a new phase of the crisis in January-February 2008, he said.
- LaRouche pressed for Syrian participation in the Annapolis peace process. Olmert and Peres know that they have been dumped by the Anglo-Americans, and they are on their own. A peace deal with Syria can shift the dynamic, open prospects for an Israel-Palestine deal, and also bring Iran into overall solution to Southwest Asia.
- 3. The U.S.A. and European elites have no idea what to do. LaRouche is promoting the possibilities of major policy change. They are wrong and he is right. The problem is the British Empire, which is the enemy of humanity, since 1763. It is not the British government, it is the Anglo-Dutch financial mob. They are the Empire. The crisis offers an opportunity to battle the British Empire. LaRouche saw the opening when Israeli President Shimon Peres said it is time to make peace with Syria. The assassination in Lebanon of General Hajj was aimed at preventing a Peres-Assad dialog.
- China and Russia recognize the crisis, and others will quickly see it too, in January-February. That is also when the U.S. Presidential campaign will get serious.
- LaRouche identified the shifts in the U.S.A., and detailed his legislation to save homeowners and banks. There is growing local support for the Homeowners and Bank Protection Act. The collapse is not under control, and normal citizens will rally behind the HBPA. The bankers at the top are trying to stop the HBPA. There must be a shift to a pro-FDR policy in the United States.
- Annapolis does open a possible deal with the Israelis and Palestinians. Marwan Barghouti is a credible Palestinian leader, and his release from jail would mean a big shift. Barak has personal ambitions and these are driving him to look for a military success, after his earlier prime ministership was a flop. But Israel cannot win another war, and Cheney's schemes for war vs. Iran would destroy Israel and collapse the whole region into chain-reaction chaos. The majority in the Israeli government no longer wants the Golan, so there is a precondition for peace now in place. British right-wingers will lead the efforts to sabotage this. It is in the Sykes-Picot tradition. Olmert, Peres and others are now pushing a consolidated deal, including giving Golan back to Syrian sovereignty. This can cause a positive chain reaction for peace. Settle Lebanon, reunite the Palestinians, deal with Lebanon, make peace with Syria--all are essential elements of regional peace. But Israel-Syria peace is a key first step. This will defeat the British Empire.
- Internal differences inside Iran are worsened by the external threat. Remove the external threat of an attack from the UK and U.S.A. Israel has no interest in attacking Iran on its own. If we hold off the U.S.A. attack, Russia can play a key role in reaching a deal with Iran. Then the internal conflicts in Iran can be resolved through normal processes. This can stabilize the whole region. Nobody benefits from chaos. There is no real existential issue between the USA and Iran. The problems are all caused by geopolitical games out of London, and the fact that there are London assets in the USA, like Cheney. Bush is insane. The permanent institutions of the USA have no conflict with Iran. They have an interest in Iran stability. AIPAC is London-run. It is all Sykes-Picot since pre-World War I.
- Since 1971-1981, the U.S.A. is no longer a superpower, with imperial capabilities. Yes, the U.S. has some military power, but the shift since then has been to British financial control. The NIE report was a top down signal from U.S. intelligence institutions that they have no quarrel with Iran. This does not apply to Congress. There is a war inside the U.S.A., with the Blair-Cheney faction fighting the U.S. institutions.
- The international system is in crisis. The dollar is the key currency, but the British run the system. The two financial powers, the U.S.A. and UK, are collapsing, like the 14th century collapse. The collapse reflects in the disintegration of European governments. Only a general reform will work. The current world system cannot survive, and if there is no reform, the world will be very different one year from now, perhaps three months from now.
- LaRouche noted that he was a proud defender of the Mossadegh tradition in Iran, from the 1950s. There is a great potential for Iran to contribute to the progress of the world. The railroad links of Eurasia can bind the economies of Eurasia, defeat Sykes-Picot legacy, and create a new Eurasian Renaissance.
