LaRouche: Giuliani's Future is Behind Him

December 10, 2007 (LPAC)--Noting GOP 2008 presidential contender Rudy Giuliani's stellar state of denial during a Sunday Dec. 9 "Meet the Press" interview with Tim Russert, Lyndon LaRouche remarked that "Giuliani has a nice future behind him." Over the course of the Sunday interview Giuliani tried to give short shrift to the skeltons in his closet -- a long list of questionable, even sleazy, clients and/or associates. Russert asked about much of the dirty laundry Giuliani has been tied to in numerous exposes of late. For example his alleged ties to a Qatar official who reportedly did business with people who helped Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, or his former police commissioner Bernard Kerik now under indictment for conspiracy, tax fraud and false statements.

Dragging Guiliani's sleazy connections into the open over the last month fits with LaRouche's Nov. 10 statement, "Guiliani Was Set Up!" There he made clear, "All of the relevant Republican king-makers" knew in advance "of the scandal which would bring Mafia creation Giuliani down..." that such a fall would "make [New York City] Mayor Michael Bloomberg a serious contender" against Democratic candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton. Sunday's "Meet the Press" interview was yet another step into this crafted future demise of Guiliani's campaign.
