Neo-Con Nuts Want Their Iran War

December 8, 2007 (LPAC)--With the Cheneyac neo-conservative war plans wounded by the National Intelligence Estimate's conclusions on Iran, Republican Senators John Ensign (Nevada) and Jeff Sessions (Alabama) told the Washington Com-Post that they intend to introduce legislation next week, to establish an "objective" Congressional commission to investigate the NIE's conclusions, and the specific intelligence which went into it. Senator Ensign insisted the intent of Iran, and not just its capabilities must be studied.

"Hearings? Good! Let there be hearings! Let there be many hearings! The more the better, and let them be public hearings. Bring them on!" responded retired Army Col. Patrick Lang, in his daily log today. Lang, well-known for his open battle with these nuts, wrote: "It is no wonder that the AEI crowd and their Congressional helpmates are running around with their hair on fire over this estimate. In sharp contrast to the ease with which the neo-con Jacobins were able to control the content of the October 2002 NIE on Iraq, this time they failed utterly to use a national intelligence estimate as a propaganda tool."

Lang is the author of the groundbreaking article, "Drinking the Kool-Aid," published in the Spring, 2004 issue of Middle East Policy journal, which was completely prescient in identifying all the neo-con, Cheneyac lies in starting the Iraq war under false pretenses.
