December 7, 2007 (LPAC)--After spending hours holed up in "closed session" with Pinochet-fascist Felix Rohatyn to discuss what Democrats will do about the economy, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) officially joined with the White House, today, to block action on Lyndon LaRouche's Homeowners and Bank Protection Act, and push Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson's worthless scheme to bail out mortgage backed securities and throw homeowners in trouble out on the street.
Pelosi, accompanied by fascist banker Felix Rohatyn, and former Secretary of the Treasury and Harvard President Larry Summers, among others, left it to House Financial Services Committee chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) to explain that the "consensus" arrived at in this morning's discussion on the Paulson plan, is that it is basically sound, but it won't help enough people, nor will it do enough for those it will help. However, "What Paulson is trying to do is conceptually reasonable," said Frank. It just needs to be expanded to cover more people.
In contrast to Frank's support for Paulson's idiocy, Lyndon LaRouche today called for "Paulson to stay out of government for the sake of government. He should retire. He no longer has tread."
Joining Frank in prostrating himself, the thoroughly discredited Larry Summers (who was forced to resign from Harvard after questioning the innate capacity of women to master science and math), stepped forward to describe the Democratic sell-out as "pragmatic and thoughtful," and to babble about the necessity of "strong counter-cyclical measures." As Lyndon LaRouche commented later, "Larry Summers is a scumbag. He is the man who tried to sell Harvard by the yard. Harvard is still trying to live down Larry Summers."
But, the real elephant in the room was exposed by two members of the LaRouche Youth Movement (LYM) attending the press conference. One asked why the Democratic Party was taking advice from the man who has been destroying the U.S. physical economy, as shown by his role in the bankruptcy of parts manufacturer, Delphi, one of last remaining machine tools firms. To which Frank hysterically responded: "I know that Lyndon LaRouche has had an obsession with Felix Rohatyn for a very long time," then shut down the questioner on the pretext that the press conference was only for credentialed reporters.
Meanwhile, a nervous-looking Rohatyn stood off to the side without saying anything. Frank did the same thing to the second LYM member, who wanted to ask him to expand on the need for investment in infrastructure (which Frank had briefly referenced during his opening remarks).
In response to Frank's despicable behavior, Lyndon LaRouche commented, "The time has come, the walrus said, to speak of many things. Barney Frank is an idiot. The poor guy, in whom we placed trust, has proven himself to be an idiot. He is a lap dog for chaos. Barney Frank masturbates. We offered him a reasonable discussion, and he responded by making depraved statements about us. He is an asshole. He is an important asshole in the Congress, but still an asshole. He betrayed us by refusing to accept the dialogue we offered him."
