Lt. Col. Dave Grossman Helps Build Momentum to End Killer Games

December 4, 2007 (LPAC)--A momentum is currently building, after the release of the LaRouchePAC's counter-intelligence pamphlet, "Is the Devil on your Laptop?", to ban Silicon "Happy" Valley's fantasy killer video games. The first trace of this came from Germany's Society for Scientific Discussion Psychotherapy (GWG), which, in response to a intervention by the Larouche Youth Movement at one of their meetings, put out a press release on November 28, 2007 titled, "Brutal Computer Games Destroy Compassion, No Killer Games for Christmas."

Yesterday, after reading the GWG press release, Lt. Col. (ret.) Dave Grossman, who worked with LaRouchePAC to make the case about Virginia Tech killer Cho's killer video game mentality, issued the following statement yesterday, in support of the press release.

"Around the world, leading experts are identifying the harmful effects of media violence on children. America has tragically fallen behind the rest of the world in this vital field. As we love our children, and as we care for the safety of our families and our society, we must take action against the industry that sells violent visual imagery and `murder simulators' to children," said Col. Grossman, author of On Killing, On Combat, and Stop Teaching Our Kids to Kill.

Join this growing momentum to shut the Gates of Hell, by getting out the LaRouchePAC pamphlet (pdf).
