Sad Clowns Bully Funny Clown Off the Stage

November 6, 2007 (LPAC)--While they themselves are exemplary of the generalized mockery that is the 2008 presidential election, several leading supporters of the Barack Obama campaign, moved to intimidate members of the South Carolina Democratic Party Executive Council not to allow comedian Steven Colbert's name to appear on the election ballot. The worry is that Obama will lose many of the committed votes of his "college educated" following. It may be true that having Colbert on the ballot would be a serious danger to Obama's campaign, which, in poor competition with the comic, has been clowning around without a policy direction for the nation. Instead of recruiting these tragically lost youth back to reality, and thus developing their creative potentials, Obama has been industriously "motivating" billions of attentive pixels on his Myspace page. Yes, when it came to clowning, Obama's campaign leaders realized to their dismay, that Barak simply wouldn't have a chance of beating a popular celebrity like Colbert, not to mention little miss cross-dresser Rudy Giuliani!

Needless to say, the Election Council voted against Colbert's appearance on the ballot, ending a long and arduous run. Colbert responded, "I am shocked and saddened by the South Carolina Democratic Executive Council's 13-to-3 vote to keep me off their presidential primary ballot. Although I lost by the slimmest margin in presidential election history (only 10 votes) I have chosen not to put the country through another agonizing Supreme Court battle. It is time for this nation to heal."
