October 3, 2007 (LPAC)--The Six Party Talks on Korea have ended successfully in Beijing, with a joint statement which will be disclosed by the Chinese. U.S. negotiator Christopher Hill reported that the agreement has the full backing of Secretary of State Rice and President Bush. Hill told the press: "The process of disabling North Korea's nuclear sites probably will get under way in a matter of weeks." He also commended China for their role in reaching the agreement. The efforts by Cheney's hitmen, such as John Bolton, to sabotage the agreement, through spurious charges of North Korean nuclear deals with Syria, have thus far been thwarted.
