Putin's Success in Chechnya: Grozny's Amazing Reconstruction

September 30, 2007 (LPAC) - The city of Grozny, nearly totally destroyed in the wars between London-sponsored terrorists and the Russian government forces under President Putin's direction, is now thriving. A front page article in the NYT, with "before and after" pictures, shows that the city, in rubble in 2006, is now largely reconstructed, along with much of the surrounding area, "more swiftly that European cities revived by the Marshall Plan." The Times acknowledges that Chechen President (and former rebel) Ramzan Kadyrov, while described as a "brutal" suppressor of human rights, has "developed significant popular support, in part because of the clear changes that have accompanied his firm and fearsome rule."
