August 9, 2007 (LPAC)--Canadian Economist Steve McIntyre has exposed the fact that the global temperature data produced by James Hansen, director of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, has been faked. This exposure is already causing global warming researchers to question their temperature data and their model results.

Al Gore's Power Point presentation on global warming is based totally on the temperature data and climate model results produced by James Hansen. The crowning moment of Gore's presentation is when he announces that the 1990s were the hottest decade in history.

After this exposure by Steve McIntyre, Gore has been proven wrong again. The Goddard Institute had to announce on its website that based on the updated and corrected data, the hottest decade was now the 1930s. This announcement blows a big hole in the alarmist theory of man-made global warming.

The Institute's website now has a note thanking Steve McIntyre for pointing out their error.
