The Offensively Sexual MySpace.com Finally Deletes the Accounts of 29,000 Known Sex Offenders

August 6, 2007 (LPAC) - Rupert Murdoch's MySpace.com finally cancelled the accounts of 29,000 known sex offenders with MySpace profiles, according to AP. The number of known sex offenders using MySpace had quadrupled since May.

North Carolina's state attorney general Roy Cooper just recently received cooperation from MySpace, finally, after being turned away in an earlier attempt, when MySpace claimed exemption citing federal privacy laws. But the state attorney's did not act without reason. Last week, a Virginia man pleaded guilty to kidnapping and soliciting a 14-year old girl he met using MySpace.com. (In order to register a MySpace profile, the user only needs to claim to be at least 14 years old). And, in January, the families of several girls who were assaulted by MySpace users sued Myspace. "The exploding epidemic of sex offender profiles on MySpace--29,000 and counting--screams for action," Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal said in a statement, according to Reuters.

In light of Murdoch's many sex-problems, LaRouchePAC proposes the following acronym for his "MySpace":

Many

Young

Students

Profiled

And

Controlled

Electronically
