August 7, 2007 (LPAC)--A dozen people representing a national anti-war/Impeach Cheney coalition held a press conference yesterday, with Congressman Dennis Kucinich to deliver to him more than 100,000 signatures from people throughout the country who support impeaching Vice-President Cheney. Kucinich submitted HR 333 in April of 2007. Impeachment signatures have been received on ImpeachCheney.org, a coalition including Brave New Films, Democrats.com, Grassroots America, After Downing Street, The Nation, National Lawyers Guild, Progressive Democrats of America, World Can't Wait, among others. The coalition presented the Congressman with 113,000 signatures. Congressman Kucinich accepted the large stack of papers delivered with the intention of encouraging other Congressmen to co-sign his impeachment bill.
